| Viru Valge – Estonia’s best known and best loved vodka – has undergone a complete transformation, inside and out! For the first time, Viru Valge is now available in its own specially designed bottle, which is adorned with an attractive new label.
The bottle, which boasts a contemporary and very solid design, has been produced exclusively for Viru Valge. True appreciation of how special it is comes not just from looking at it, but also holding it in your hand. Uniquely shaped and amazingly clear, the bottle has a number of embossed features: Hornblower, the figure who has marked out Viru Valge for so many years, on the back of the bottle; the patterned strip along the bottom edge of the bottle, which recalls Estonian folk traditions; and the ‘Anno 1898’ on the shoulders of the bottle, underscoring Liviko’s history. The Viru Valge label is completely new, too, although its key components – from the choice of colours to the font style – remain instantly recognisable. Everything inside the bottle has changed as well.
What makes the flavour of Viru Valge so special has been significantly improved thanks to new technology in vodka production. The modern and highly innovative special treatment with active carbon has resulted Viru Valge with a smoother and more neutral flavour and aroma. This complex technology has made the production process twice as time-consuming, and it is used by Liviko exclusively for the production of Viru Valge.
